How it works
Find projects, keep the ones that interest you and organise your next move.
xtizetai organises the TEE (Technical Chamber of Greece) building acts on Diavgeia into a map and a list: new apartment buildings for free, and in Pro all permits, renovations and small-scale works, so you can review projects in the areas you serve.
-
Choose an area
Search for your municipality or city and see the actual records on the map or in the list. With Pro you combine several municipalities.
-
Open the project sheet
See the dates of the first permit and of revisions, levels, built area, company and role where available. Open the official act on Diavgeia to verify it.
-
Keep your own list
Favourites, private notes and a personal status: what you reviewed and what the next step is.
-
Get notified about new records
Email alerts on the days you choose, once a week or once a month, at the time that suits you; up to 10 saved searches, each with its own alert, and a news screen inside the app.
-
Present your business
Fill in your services, areas and availability, add work samples and publish your business profile.
Where the data comes from and what we cover
The building permits issued through the e-Adeies (e-Permits) electronic system are posted by TEE (Technical Chamber of Greece) on Diavgeia, the Greek government transparency portal (description by the Ministry of Environment and Energy). We read all building acts from the last two years.
On the free map: the new apartment buildings (at least 4 levels and housing on 2 or more floors). In Pro: all TEE building acts on Diavgeia from the last two years, that is, building permits for every building, revisions and updates, pre-approvals, demolitions and small-scale building works approvals (renovations, external wall insulation, doors and windows, roofs, etc.). The map includes those with a location on the form (about 9 in 10); the rest appear in the list.
Three different sets, so you can read the numbers correctly: acts in the database (all that we have recorded), acts with details (those whose form has been read: works, levels, built area) and acts with a map location (those with coordinates on the form). The counters for new apartment buildings count unique projects, not acts. Every project page has a link to the official act.
- Building permit: the approval to build. The “first permit” of a project is the date that the statistics count.
- Revision / update: a later change to the permit. It does not count as a new permit.
- Pre-approval: comes before the permit. It appears in a project's history; on its own it is not currently placed on the map, because the form has no coordinates.
- Demolition: a separate category, hidden by default. It does not prove that construction is imminent.
How often it is updated
Every day at 7 pm, when almost all of the day's acts have been posted, and also every 2 hours from Monday to Saturday (09:00–17:00). Those posted later appear in the next update. The time of the last successful update is shown on the home page and on the municipality pages; if an update does not complete, we show that.
How long a project stays on the map
The length of time it is shown on the map is calculated from the available acts and the rules of the service. The date a project is withdrawn from the map is not a completion forecast or the expiry date of the permit.
- Building permit: up to 24 months from issue, not beyond its expiry.
- Revision or update: up to 12 months from its date, not beyond the expiry of the permit. A newer act may extend the display; if its period ends earlier than the one already calculated, nothing changes.
- Demolition permit: 6 months.
- The project page stays available for 365 days after it leaves the map.
Stage of works
The date of the permit helps you judge how current the project is. The actual stage of the works and the need for partners need separate confirmation. That is why we never write that a project has “started” or “been completed”.
Location accuracy
When the owners of a project include private individuals, we show the street without a number and an approximate location, not the exact plot.
Personal data, correction and removal
From the permits we neither store nor publish the names of natural persons (owners, engineers). We show only company names, with their role on the act. Business profiles are different: they are published by the businesses themselves, with the details they choose. Every project page has a form to request a correction or removal. See the privacy policy.
For construction companies
If your company appears on a project with wrong details, write to us at info@xtizetai.gr. Enriched company pages are in preparation and not yet available. The official details of the permit always stay as they are.
