Home renovations 2026: where most interior works are declared
For electricians, plumbers, tilers, plasterboard crews and carpenters: from 1 January to 3 November 2026, 29,358 small-scale works approvals were issued that include works in the category “interior alterations and renovations”, more than in the same period last year (27,313, +7%).

The works come from the Small-Scale Building Works Approvals (Law 4759/2020) that the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) posts on Diavgeia, based on the standardised catalogue of works on the form. An act may list more than one work, so it counts in each relevant category. We count the acts whose form was read (95% of the year's approvals).
